About Wheatland Pure Foods

An integrated wholesale, retail and Cash & Carry food business built on real industry experience — and a commitment to the Canadian communities we serve.

Our story

Staple foods you can rely on, from people who know them.

Wheatland Pure Foods centralises packaging, bulk handling and distribution of everyday staples in one local facility — creating a stable, dependable source for households and businesses alike.

Rising grocery costs and patchy supply make life hard for families and small kitchens, especially for the pulses, rice, gram flour and spices used daily across South Asian, Middle Eastern, African and Caribbean cuisines. We bridge that gap with consistent quality, fair pricing and reliable restocking.

Founder

Wheatland Pure Foods is led by Farhad Ali, who brings 7+ years of hands-on experience in gram-flour milling, wholesale trading and retail operations — from raw-material sourcing and quality control through to logistics and B2B sales.

That direct expertise underpins every part of the business: procurement, milling standards, inventory and dependable service.

Our mission

To provide reliable, affordable, high-quality staple foods through consistent supply, transparent pricing and value-added processing — supporting local communities and independent retailers.

Our vision

To become a trusted regional leader in bulk food distribution and Cash & Carry retail, recognised for quality, community impact and operational integrity.
